About Us

Welcome to The Stockwell Cliffe Charitable Trust: a Buckinghamshire based supporter of small charities and organisations.

The family of Ralph Stockwell formed the trust in 2021.  After Ralph's death, his wife and daughter are now sustaining his philanthropic efforts by supporting a variety of causes including healthcare - especially cancer research, autism, community and education initiatives.

Following a very successful accountancy career, Ralph was involved in running a large charity and gained a great interest in the Royal Marsden Hospital's cancer research work, whilst being supported throughout his own 20 year myeloma battle.

The family also has links to the Royal Brompton Hospital, a specialist in heart and lung conditions, which proved a lifesaver for a family member.

Nicola Cliffe, Ralph's daughter, wanted to give back to the community after 15 years of teaching in inner London.  She was inspired to action after witnessing child poverty and has a special interest in supporting children living with additional needs.

The Trust is open to grant applications from small charities within England & Wales which fulfil the criteria within its core causes.
